Is my roof suitable for solar panels?
Most pitched roofs are suitable. Orientation, shading and the condition of the roof decide how much a system will generate, so we start every solar job with a survey and only recommend a system where the numbers make sense for you.
Do solar panels need planning permission?
Usually no. Domestic solar installations in England are normally classed as permitted development, though listed buildings and some conservation areas are exceptions. We check this for your property as part of the survey.
Is battery storage worth adding?
It depends on how you use energy. If most of your electricity is used in the evening, a battery lets you store what your panels generate during the day. We model it against your usage and tell you plainly if it would not pay its way.
